ARISI SAFARIS LIMITED is a registered tour operation company in Arusha Tanzania. Below are our terms and conditions together with cancellation policy for Arisi Safaris.
- Reservations, Advance and Balance Payments:
A 30% non-refundable deposit of the total tour cost is required at the time of reservation for your booking to be confirmed. The remaining balance for your trip will be due 60 days prior to your departure date. For last minute bookings payment arrangement will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
Accepted methods of payments for booking your trip include bank/wire transfer and Credit Cards (Master Card, VISA) a 5% bank surcharge will apply for card payments.

- Online Credit Card Payment- We accept online payment by VISA Card, Master Card, and American Express Card- This option will attract 5% credit card charges.

- Cancellations:
Cancellations received by Arisi Safaris Ltd 90 days or more prior to departure are subject to a 30% of the total booking amount cancellation penalty; cancellations received 89-60 days prior to departure are subject to a penalty of 40% of the total tour amount; 59-30 days is 50% of the tour rate. Cancellations received 29 days or less are subject to penalty of 100% of the entire tour rate. We HIGHLY recommend travelers to have trip insurance that covers (at a very minimum) trip cancellation, trip delay, trip interruption, medical evacuation and medical insurance.
- Accommodations:
Accommodations and arranged sightseeing may be altered at any moment owing to unanticipated events or other factors outside of Arisi Safaris’ control. While every attempt will be made to operate the tour as scheduled, changes may take place after the official itinerary has been released. The quoted prices are based on guests booking together sharing a room however, single rooms are also available but subject to a single room supplement fee. Depending on the level you choose, single room supplements vary between accommodations; this will be explained to you throughout the booking process.
- Visitor representation and consent:
When making a reservation/booking with Arisi Safaris, the customer attests that all other parties included (partner, friends, children, and relatives etc) in the reservation have agreed that he or she has authority to enter into a contract on behalf of all other persons participating in the same tour.
When the client has confirmed the booking, the payment of the deposit or any other partial payment for a reservation on a tour constitutes the agreement of all the people in the booking and agreement to all of the Terms and Conditions whether they have signed it or not.
- Alterations to tours:
If changes to the air or ground transportation schedules, security issues, or uncontrollable occurrences necessitate such modifications, Arisi Safaris retains the right to modify or alter the itinerary.
- Special requests:
At the time of booking, all specific demands like special dietary requirements, adjoining or connecting rooms, smoking or non-smoking rooms, and should be mentioned. Please understand that while every attempt will be taken to fulfill any special requests, they can not be guaranteed.
- Claims and refunds:
Refunds are not given for any skipped tour services unless there are demonstrable exceptional circumstances. If you decide to cancel a tour that is already underway, there will be no refund. Please see our Limits on Responsibility. Verifiable claims must be submitted in writing within 45 days of the termination of the tour and include a supporting statement from the tour operator verifying the claim in order to be taken into consideration.
- Participation:
Participants who are unfit to participate in long trips due to heart disease, a chronic sickness, a physical disability, an advanced pregnancy, or a mental should not participate in these trips.
- Luggage
Throughout the tour, luggage and personal items are at the owner’s risk. On some internal flights, there may be weight restrictions for checked bags; details will be provided on your itinerary.
- Tour Prices Include:
Accommodations depending on either twin-bed rooms or double-bed rooms, as mentioned in each itinerary (or tents where applicable).
Meals as listed on each itinerary, as well as bottled water during safari and trekking.
For Mount Kilimanjaro and other mountains: The services of qualified English-speaking guides (or guides who speak another foreign language that is specified), an experienced cook, and enough porters to carry your belongings, food, and water.
For safaris: Services of English speaking driver guide (or other specified international language speaking guide), and a skilled cook for camping safari.
Entrance fees to National Parks, game reserves and museums, and ALL other applicable fees and taxes.
A Safari vehicle, equipped with luxurious game viewing and touring, with a guarantee window seat!
- Not included in quoted tour prices:
Costs of passports or visas; excess baggage charges; travel insurance; airfares and airport departure taxes (unless explicitly stated); sightseeing, game drives or meals not listed in the itinerary; personal expenses such as beverages, (other than bottled water as noted in Tour Inclusions), laundry, communication charges, and gratuities.
- Tour Cots
Cost package for the provided tour may increase due to unforeseen increase related to government taxes, flights fare and airport; fuel taxes will update the guest’s accordingly.
- Photography:
Arisi Safaris may take photographs or film of its trips and trip participants, and participant grants Arisi Safaris express permission to do so and for Arisi Safaris to use such for promotional or commercial use.
