Expand All Day 1 : Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

You will be met upon your arrival in JRO by our meet and greet person; and transfer to Hotel in Arusha. In the Evening our team will come over for safari briefing.

Day 2 : Arusha / Tarangire

Today, after breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch; the park is renowned for its large elephant population. You will enjoy the game drives in the park for the whole day. Later in the day you will drive to Karatu in Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Karatu (Ngorongoro Highlands) / Serengeti (central)

After early morning breakfast we will drive to central Serengeti. You will have a full day game drives safari in the Serengeti exploring this wonderful plain rich of varieties of wildlife that range from the large predators to the gentle herbivores. Full day game drive safari.

Day 4 : Serengeti (central)

Today after breakfast you will continue with game drive safari in Serengeti Park. You will tour in interesting places in Serengeti. Central Serengeti is renowned for high concentration of wild animals throughout the year.

Day 5 : Ngorongoro

After early breakfast you will drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation. Descend to the crater for game drives safari in the Crater, you will spend the day exploring this extraordinary ecosystem that hosts a large diversity of animals in the crater, ranging from the lions, cheetahs, black rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles,  waterbucks, elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, the hippopotamus to many more games. Later in the day we will drive to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 : Lake Eyasi

In the morning after breakfast, you will proceed with a full day of hunting with the Bushmen; early morning is the best time for hunting, therefore to get the full experience this activity will start early. You may have the opportunity of taking raw meat, and roots, the traditional food of Bushmen. They do not cook meat they take in raw form. You will have your picnic lunch then later in the day you will drive back to Farm of Dreams for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 : Lake Manyara (Safari or Cultural tour/Kilimanjaro / Departure)

After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive. The park is home to colorful birds, elephants, zebras, giraffe, hippos antelopes, and other animals. The lake itself is spectacular.

ALTERNATIVELY (instead of game drive safari in Manyara): After breakfast, we drive to nearby Mto wa Mbu area (7kms from Manyara park’s gate) to do an approximately two hours cultural tour which will include visiting banana/rice plantations as well as walking safari with traditional healers who will explain the medicinal values of the indigenous plants (let us know your preference when making your booking).

We will drive back to Arusha town and proceed to JRO airport for your evening / night flight back home. Additionally day room or overnight accommodation can be booked at extra cost.

Main Destination: Lake Manyara National Park

Estimated driving distance: 2.5hrs drive to Arusha, plus 50 min. drive to JRO

Activities: Game drives OR Cultural Tours
